Experience

Before establishing AMG Communications in 1992, Alison had more than 10 years experience working with iconic print media publications including the NZ Listener, NZ Woman’s Day, Australian Women’s Weekly and Next Magazine.

To add to her wealth of practical experience, Alison is also fully qualified in marketing with specific interests in marketing strategy, public relations, advertising and promotion and direct marketing.

Due to her direct involvement with a significant number of clients and campaigns over 20 years, Alison has garnered vast experience and has developed an extensive network of industry-wide contacts.  She maintains a ‘hands on’ involvement with every client.

Rachel D'Cruz

Responsible for concept development and all facets of account management, primarily in the consumer and corporate sectors.

Experience

Rachel’s background as a TV programme researcher and experience in the advertising industry has resulted in her having exceptionally strong media relationships and an eye for stories that will ‘fly’.

Prior to AMG Communications, Rachel worked with one of New Zealand’s most successful advertising agencies and as a researcher for the telecommunication’s sector. In her role in the communications team, she helped manage the 0867 changeover between Telecom and ISP’s, latterly working in a PR capacity on the Telecom mobile account.

Since joining AMG Communications in 2004, Rachel has been responsible for a significant number of major accounts. Of note is Kraft Foods, for which she has a succession of acclaimed campaigns for global brands including Vegemite, Philadelphia Cream Cheese, Toblerone and Oreo.

Rachel’s creativity and extensive media relationships enable her to obtain excellent exposure for her clients.

Amanda Fifield

Responsible for concept development and all facets of account management, primarily in the consumer, corporate and pharmaceuticals sectors.

Experience

Amanda has extensive front line experience in journalism, working in food, fashion and beauty, and as a feature writer on major press and other publications.  Prior to joining AMG she was the editor of NZDA magazine.

With a BA (Hons) in Journalism, a diploma in Journalism and postgraduate qualifications in direct marketing, she has developed a personal style that is a balance of perceptive, disciplined thinking and a high degree of creativity.

Some of the clients and brands Amanda has been responsible for since joining AMG Communications include Dilmah, Cool Charm, Clear Eyes, Tasti Products, Electrolux, Brita Water Systems, James Crisp, Kono Mussels, and Marley.

Amanda’s highly developed blend of journalism, organisational skills and extensive media contacts enables her to quickly identify communication solutions and to implement them with panache.

Alan Murray

Marketing and business development strategy, concept development and tactical execution for the industrial and business-to-business sectors.

Experience

Alan’s early career path in electrical engineering opened the way to technical sales, sales management and marketing management.  In his corporate career he achieved the position of CEO of a group of three diverse British companies involved in robotics, construction plant, and tyres (Bridgestone and Firestone).

After completing postgraduate studies in Marketing (Hons) and achieving chartered marketing status, Alan established AMG group in 1987, initially focused on the industrial and B2B sectors.

Alan brings a unique practical and academic skill set to the industrial and B2B markets with the ability to ‘speak the language’ technically, while also possessing in-depth sales and marketing knowledge. Over the years he has provided his sought after services in many countries around the world from Europe to Mainland China.

Just a few of Alan’s clients include: Telstra Clear, Siemens, Promat Asia Pacific, Clipsal, United States Gypsum, Allied Pickfords, and Vodafone.
